Woman Stabbed In National City, Dies At Hospital
April 18, 2009NATIONAL CITY, Calif. -- An 18-year-old woman was fatally stabbed on a South Bay roadside Friday afternoon, authorities reported.
The slaying occurred near the intersection of East Ninth Street and A Avenue in National City about 1 p.m., according to police, who released no details of the circumstances of the crime.
Medics took the victim to UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, where she was pronounced dead, a dispatcher said.
Her name was withheld pending notification of her relatives.
Late Friday night, police announced the arrest of a suspect. She was identified as Antoinette Latrice Louise Dokes Hendricks, 18.
