Bundles Of Marijuana Found In Del Mar
March 18, 2009DEL MAR, Calif. -- Eight bundles of marijuana weighing a total of about 100 pounds were discovered Wednesday morning on the sand in Del Mar, a sheriff's sergeant said.
The discovery at the foot of 11th Street was reported around 4 a.m., San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Gary Steadman said.
A life vest was also found near the bundles, he said. No other details were immediately released.
What they didn't say is that there were originally NINE bundles of pot -- one of them was squirreled away before the authorities were called. Return to San Diego Local News Roundup
