Armed Men Rob Burger King, Put Workers In Freezer
April 2, 2009SAN DIEGO -- Three armed men robbed a Burger King restaurant Thursday in Mira Mesa and left the store's employees in a freezer, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The robbery happened at around 1:48 Thursday morning at the restaurant on 6735 Mira Mesa Blvd.
Police told 10News that three Asian men wearing masks and gloves approached the drive-thru window of the restaurant. One of them was armed with a knife.
The men forced the restaurant's employees into a freezer and took off with an unknown amount of cash.
The employees were shaken after the incident but not injured.
