Crash Kills San Diego Motorcyclist
March 15, 2009BARRETT JUNCTION, Calif. -- A motorcyclist died Sunday after his bike went over the side of Highway 94 in Barrett Junction, an East County community just west of Tecate, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Cal Fire dispatcher said a medical helicopter was called in, but the victim died at the scene about 50 minutes after the crash.
