Two Shot Near Nightclub
March 14, 2009SAN DIEGO -- Gang detectives are investigating a shooting near a bar in the Morena district that left two people wounded late Friday night.
Two men in their 20s were outside of the Brick by Brick nightclub on the 1300 block of Elevation Road, near the University of San Diego, when they got into an altercation with two other men around 11:45 p.m. Friday, said San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz.
Words were exchanged and one man took out a handgun and shot both victims, Nemetz said.
The men then fled the scene, possibly in a Cadillac Escalade, he said.
