Lake Murray 7-Eleven Hit By Armed Robber
March 19, 2009SAN DIEGO -- A tall man in his mid-20s pointed a gun at a clerk's head and robbed a convenience store in Lake Murray but police said the clerk was not hurt.
The armed robbery at a 7-Eleven at 8507 San Marcos Drive occurred around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police Sgt. Alan Hayward said.
After pointing his gun at the clerk's head, the thief took money from a cash register and went out through the front door, according to Hayward.
Police described the thief as a black man in his mid-20s, around 6 feet 1, with a medium build. He wore a gray jacket with black stripes and blue jeans.
