Man On Probabtion Found With Stolen Items, Drugs, ShotgunMarch 18, 2009SAN DIEGO -- A 50-year-old man on probation for selling drugs was back behind bars Wednesday after authorities found stolen property, drugs and a shotgun at his home in University Heights, a sheriff's sergeant said. Leonard Leseman was arrested Tuesday after deputies went to his home on Adams Avenue to do a probation check and found property stolen from a residence in Jamul, San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Maxin said. Deputies also found a "sizable amount" of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash and a shotgun, according to Maxin. Leseman was booked into jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property, drug sales and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, Maxin said. Return to San Diego Local News Roundup |
