Massive Meals to Make You FatMarch 16, 2009Burgers On Pizzas? Cakes Made Of Meat? They Have It Even if you keep an eye on your diet and try to stay healthy, everyone needs to allow themselves a treat from time to time. Some people, however, take it to extremes when they want a diet-busting dish. This Is Why You're Fat collects pictures and descriptions of some of the most gut-busting creations ever to come out of a kitchen. Most of the concoctions focus not just on size -- though they are massive -- but on a conglomeration of greasy, gooey ingredients. One recent example: A 15-inch, deep-fried hot dog topped with jalapenos, habanero chili sauce, coleslaw, diced tomatoes and a mound of cheese. Other items bring put foods into new forms. For example, someone posted a picture of the Sandwich Cake -- a layer of deviled ham, chicken salad and olive-nut spread between a whole loaf white bread surrounded by four packages of strawberry cream cheese. Several people put massive hamburgers and other ingredients between large pizzas to create a colossal combination. And if that's not enough, consider the Meat Cake. It appears at first to be a carrot cake, but in fact turns out to be layers of meat loaf iced in mashed potatoes and ketchup. For dessert -- the only practical choice, of course, is the candy pizza. Unless, of course, you'd prefer the chocolate-dipped bacon. Nobody can say, however, if the hot dog wrapped in a Twinkie and topped with spray cheese counts as a dessert or an appetizer.
