15-Year-Old Shot In Buttocks
March 29, 2009SAN DIEGO -- Gang detectives are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in the Colina del Sol neighborhood, officials announced Saturday.
The teen was walking south on 54th Street at 7:38 p.m. Friday when a male approached him and shot him once in the buttocks, said San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz.
The shooter, who was wearing dark clothing, fled on foot, he said.
The victim was taken to the hospital. The boy's condition was not immediately available.
Apparently the perpetrator of this shooting took a little too literally the street phrase "bust a cap in your ###". Return to San Diego Local News Roundup
